Tricia Keala

Tricia Keala

Founder, CPSI (Certified Playground Safety Inspector), CPRP (Certified Parks & Recreation Professional)

Expert in all things playground, Tricia heads the planning and management of Nature Playscapes projects. She leads the design team in the application of best practice principles based upon industry standards for public playground safety and inclusive design, such as ASTM, CPSC and ADAAG. Particularly in non-traditional play settings such as this, it is critical to identify acceptable risk levels and to assess materials, design, layouts, evaluate components and specify installation methods which will produce a safe play area for children, limit liability for the owner and most importantly, offer adventure, discovery and development at its core. Tricia brings 20 years of project and risk management experience in the parks and recreation setting, with over 15 years as a Certified Playground Safety Inspector.
